• London bus operator GreyGreen helped its parent T Cowie boost pre-tax profits by 61% to £18.2m last year by increasing its own pre-tax profits from £300,000 to £1.23m. Cleckheaton-based dealer Hughes Daf, also part of the Cowie empire, reported a fall in profits from £1.15m to £835,000.
