• St Mellons, South Glamorgan-based Mark Cutter has had his bid to change his operating centre adjourned after wrongly advertising it as an application without change instead of a variation.
Cutter's bid for authority to operate three vehicles from Greenacre Farm instead of Long Meadow Farm was opposed by Newport Borough Council, who maintained that it was not a suitable operating centre. A previous application for authority to use Greenacre Farm was refused in March 1990.
South Wales Licensing Authority John Mervyn Pugh adjourned the application until 25 March, so that it could be readvertised properly.
