Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A range of landing gear equipment from George Blair consists of three types of landing gear: single speed, twin speed and twin speed (push/pull) operation. The static capacity of each pair of legs is 50 tons. The internal workings of the legs run in pre-lubricated bushes and a heavy-duty bearing is incorporated in the leadscrew for maximum support.

The design incorporates a fast wind-down of 2.5 turns per inch of travel to enable the trailer to be dropped quickly and 40 turns per inch of travel so that effort to lift under load is kept to a minimum.
