THE name of the late Mr. B. Francis
Caunt, managing director of Atkinson Vehicles Ltd. until his death last December, will be perpetuated in the form of a prize to be awarded annually to the best practical apprentice at the Preston factory.
Atkinson Vehicles have also instituted another annual award, to be named after the chairman, Mr, W. G. Allen, which will go to the best technical apprentice.
Both prizes will be in the form of vouchers worth .£10, which can be used to purchase books or tools.
