* The Freight Transport Association warns hauliers that they could be Fined in France For carrying medication without the doctor's prescription. A British lorry driver was recently fined for carrying unauthorised drugs (suspected amphetamines) which had been issued on a doctor's prescription.

* The Macedonian prohibition on the transit of livestock and animal products from Bulgaria, imposed last year because of an epidemic of foot and mouth disease, has been lifted.
