Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CRAVEN TASKER has released more details of its new Tasklift low loader (CM June 5).

Produced in two forms for 42 and 48 tons gross trailer weight, the Tasklift has a low profile neck with a specially developed floor shape to clear digger arms and booms, thus keeping the load height down.

The full designation of the new trailer is F6-42-LB-RN. The' LB refers to the low bridge over the rear wheels and the RN refers to raising neck.

It is this latter feature which distinguishes the Tasker RN from its predecessor, as the RN can raise and lower the neck, whereas the earlier model could only be lowered.

The neck can raise the trailer by 280mm (15in) to clear hump back bridges or, at the other extreme, can be lowered to within an inch of the ground to negotiate low bridges.

Craven Tasker claims that the wide top deck gives the driver something to fine up on when reversing.

The 42 ton version was designed as being the optimum for both Construction and Use operation and also for Special Types.

Craven Tasker suggests that the 48 ton version does not qualify for the same dual usage, as the weight of the trailer itself means that the payload is unsa tisfactory for use with Construction and Use regulations.

The 48 ton version of the Tasklift RN has a range of subframeswhich can be used to keep the low loader level, Stainless steel is now specified for the rams, as Craven Tasker found that the earlier chromium design suffered from pitting.

The Tasklift RN uses Craven ,Tasker's own design of centre pivot suspension. The company claims that the bed is capable of carrying its full design load over half the bed length.

The estimate tare weight of the 42-tanner, which varies slightly with individual specification, version is 7,550 kg (7tons 9cwt ).
