SEA CONTAINERS has provided four Tamplin Tip-Kits for handling containerised coal exports from Tilmanstone Colliery, near Dover.
The Tip-Kits are in operation at Zeebrugge for round-the-clock transporting and unloading of purpose-built coal carrying containers which are shipped by one of Sea Containers' own purpose designed Tarros Class container vessels. Special features of the Tip-Kits include adaption of the twistlock mountings for single lever operation from the driver's side of the vehicle. They also have specially arranged gather guides to assist rapid locating of the containers on to the twist locks.
