Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A new solid state battery charger is designed for the charging of lead-acid or nickel-cadmium batteries. It should be of special interest to transport operators, and particularly to companies that favour electrically operated vehicles.

It is completely solid state and will automatically adjust the charging rate to suit the state of the battery.

The equipment is available either panel mounted with outputs of 7-25amp for operation on nominal voltages of 200-250V or as a chassis for those wishing to build it into their own equipment.
