• London Country Bus Services has applied to the Traffic Commissioners to revise its scale of fares on bus and Green Line Coach Services. The proposals also provide a "dual-currency" scale ready for decimalization early next year.
On buses adult fares would be increased as follows: One-mile 6d to 7d; two miles no increase; three miles Is to Is 5d; four miles Is 6d to ls 7d; five miles Is 6d to Is 10d; six miles 2s to 2s 3d; seven miles 2s to 2s 5d.
