Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IN BRIEF

No Right Turn: The Glasgow Corporation highways and safety committee has refused a request by Scottish Omnibuses Ltd. that vehicles leaving the Clyde Street bus station to go to London Road be allowed to turn right instead of left, as at present. The existing route involves a complete circuit of St. Andrew Square and adds some 35,000 miles a year to the fleet's mileage. Hong Kong Traffic Survey : The Hong Kong Government has approved the expenditure of £150,000 on a passenger transport survey to be conducted in the Colony beginning in August. Mr. E. Dalby, of the Road Research Laboratory, will take charge of operations and he will be joined later by other staff from the laboratory.

First " Lit-up " Routemasters: London Transport placed its first buses with illuminated external advertisements into service on June 5, when three Routemasters so equipped commenced operation on route 30 (Roehampton-Hackney Wick). They are the first of 200 which will be introduced.

Lettered Bus Stops at Marble Arch: A new lettered bus stop scheme to help passengers find the right bus or Green Line coach has been introduced by London Transport at Marble Arch. The 20 stops in the immediate area, served by 40 routes, are lettered A-Z in white on a red disc, and are linked with special directional maps displayed at key points. The map shows at a glance the location and code letters of each stop, the routes serving it, and how to reach more than 100 destinations.
