THE 30-ft. by 8-ft. single-deck bus weighing less than 5 tons unladen, was suggested as a reasonable target by Mr. A. A. M. Durrant, C.B.E. Lagarrigue, director of the road network of the Regie Autonome des Transports Parisiens, Paris. M. Lagarrigue, quoting figures for 1951, said that the average serviceability ratio was 88.15 per cent.
