Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DUPLE BODIES AND MOTORS, LTD., The Hyde, Hendon, London, N.W.9, has achieved quite a big reputation for its all-weather body products and two interesting examples which have recently been completed in the company's works are shown in the accompanying illustrations.

The upper picture shows a 26-seate,r which is mounted on a McCurd passenger chassis, and it comprises one of a number of this type which is now being built. In the design of the body special attention has been given to the qustion of the passengers comfort, and the in

terior equipment can certainly be considered of a de luxe nature. The seats: are of a comfortable pattern and are upholstered in brown antique leather.

In the other picture a 24-seater semisaloon coach body is depicted, this being mounted 011 an example of the Associated Daimler, Model 424 chassis. This body is one of a number which is being constructed for Messrs. Elliott Bros., the well-known coach proprietors of Bournemouth. This type of body is equipped with de luxe armchair seats, upholstered in blue leather, but in some of the bodies which are being built for this concern special moquette upholstery is being employed and the seat backs are fitted with folding tables.

All the side windows are made to be lowered and are operated by Rawlings mechanism, whilst fixed louvre ventilators are arranged above them. A deep sloping windscreen is provided and it is fitted with a frosted-glass sun visor. Luggage lockers are fitted in the skirt of the body on each side and the back portion is fixed and domed, being provided with an oval window and suitable ventilators. A spring blind is also used in the rear portion of the body. A footrest is fitted below each seat, but sufficient space is available so that an attaché case and small parcels can be accommodated on the floor.

Each of these vehicles is fitted with the Parwatt patented one-man mechanically operated head. The cantralls are of Duralumin and the head is operated by means of a handle, which is detachable, at the front. We understand that the hood can be raised or lowered in the space of a few seconds.
