• New Tredegar-based Evans Coaches has been directed to repay 20% of the fuel duty rebate grant it had received over the past three months, by South Wales Traffic Commissioner John Mervyn Pugh. In addition, it has been banned from operating local services of any description, following failures to operate in accordance with registered particulars.
The Commissioner has adjourned consideration of further disciplinary action, on maintenance grounds, until a date to be fixed.
