PARCELS EXPRESS, the warehousing and parcels delivery subsidiary of Greater Manchester Transport, is likely to be sold to a national parcel carrier.
A GMT spokesman told CM this week that negotiations are still going on, and that the undertaking is also talking to representatives of the staff.
The deal would involve the relocation of the White Star business at the Parrs Wood depot in Manchester, and some staff would be offered new jobs with GMT.
