A new heavy-duty drill with keyless chuck has been introduced by Desoutter Automotive. The Model 113 drill is a 10 mm (0.375in) tool designed for all types of automotive repair work and is available at the trade price of £35. The operating speed is 1900 rpm.
Also announced is a 17,000 rpm high-speed sander which the manufacturer claims is ideal for the removal of M1G welding heads and door skins.
