• A self-employed removals contractor has been banned from driving for 20 years after his 10th drinkdriving conviction in 17 years. William Dunn of Southwark, South London, was also told he would have to retake his driving test when the ban ended if he wished to start driving again • Up to £225 million might have been wasted on road schemes because of traffic forecast errors, according to a report by the National Audit Office on Government road planning. The average difference between forecast and actual traffic flows in 41 cases tested by the DTp was 26%. Traffic ranged from 105% below estimate on part of the M67, to 50% above on part of the M25.
