Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

POWERING UP • Fork-lift truck company Harvey Plant has announced a contract hire traction battery scheme.

The new service provides regular inspection visits and a technical consultancy service. Each battery will also come complete with instructions on filling, charging and general maintenance.

A leaflet is available from Harvey Plant, Kings House, King Street, Bedworth, Warwickshire, CV12 8PH, or phone (0203) 310505.

HELPING HANDS • A western Europe roadside recovery service for commercial vehicles has been set up by the Royal Automobile Club.

The new service, set up by the commercial arm of the RAC rescue and recovery service Octagon Recovery, can help any lorry driver needing assistance in Western Europe. All he needs to do is call an RAC control room in Leeds or Calais. In France, the call can be made free of charge and the RAC is hoping to extend this to all countries under the scheme. European hauliers will be covered as well as British operators.

For information call the RAC on 01-839 7050.
