Scantruck beat off fierce competition from rival truck distributors to acquire the prime site next to the London orbital motorway and near the Ml, M10 and M11. According to Scantruck's managing director Vernon Broom, the distributor will he investing more than 2750,000 on leasing and refurbishing the site, which will have a combined workshop and dealership building covering 1,600m2..The drive-through truck workshops will have five bays.
Broom reports that Scantruck has been searching for new premises for the last year. "We were successful in acquiring the South Minuns site; all of the competition was interested in it. It's probably the best site we could ever find."
