AAH has a fleet of 350 vehicles and handles cleansing and land maintenance contracts for local authorities. Go Plant has 400 vehicles and owns eight depots. It is likely to record profits of over £2 million for 1988, and its new owner expects it to make a profit of £2.75 million this year.
• Drinks distribution specialist Cert Services is to spend £500,000 during this year on expanding its fleet. It has still to choose a supplier. The company currently runs over 80 vehicles.
• Trailer rental company Trailerent has formally merged with Truckrent, its sister company within the Mercantile Group.
