Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FIAT and Magirus Deutz have the UK to form Iveco (UK) GOMERIE.

Although the group will have integrated marketing, parts, service and financial control departments, the sales departments will be kept completely separate.

This is being done to maintain the individual image of the two marques.

The heads of the various departments have been drawn from both Fiat and Magirus Deutz, with Frank Tinsdale of Magirus being managing director.

There will be no integration of the dealer network. Currently there are some 80 dealers in the UK which is to be increased to 90 during 1980.

The UK headquarters of Iveco will be at Warrington on a new 101/2-acre site but this will not become operational until 1982. Up to then, Winsford (currently the Magirus headquarters) will be treated as the Iveco head office.

Iveco (UK) Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Iveco By, the holding company established by Fiat and KlocknerHumboldt-Deutz and responsible for the production of Fiat, OM, Lancia, Unic and Magirus now been combined officially in Ltd, writes GRAHAM MONT Deutz commercial vehicles.

The recent takeover of the KHD shareholding in Iveco by Fiat is not expected to have any effect on the overall structure and marketing policy.
