CAR TRANSPORTER firms are under investigation by the Office of Fair Trading which has begun to question the major manufacturers about their experiences.

OFT is said to be concerned that the big four transporter firms -Silcock and Collins, Cartransport Ltd, Toleman Group, and Dependable Deliveries — have a 60 per cent share of the market.

Leading car distributors and the four major manufacturer: have been asked for details oi their experiences with thE operators.
