STEWART Wrightson (Ea Midlands) Ltd at Leicester introduced a new insuranc scheme for coach passenge and drivers.
The scheme is underwrith by two leading insuran• companies and is available f the UK and Europe. Accide! benefits are paid out regar less of legal liability. The benefits are £3,000 for death within one year of accident or for the loss of u of a limb, an eye, or permane total disablement caused wh entering, travelling in alighting from a coach.
The death benefit is £500: people under 16. The cost the operator is £20 per cos per year. The same company recen introduced a low-cost in rance scheme for coach a tour operators to cover th against breakdown throi. accidental damage mechanical failure on • Continent.
