Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW low-height version of Craven Tasker (Woodville) Ltd's all-welded aluminium Tasktip 35cum (46cuyd) tipping semi-trailer has a reduced unladen height at the rear of 0.45m (15in).

Some operators cannot use conventional-height models where access to hoppers, etc, is limited to maximum height of 3m (l0ft).

Usually Craven Tasker built its low-height version to a length ,of 8.5m (28ft) with 9.1m (30ft) models as an occasional alternative. Now that the 9.1m (30ft) model is standard, giving a lower body size.

Previously the hinges for the top-hung tailgate projected above the top rail, but they have been redesigned to fit flush with the top of the body, which prolongs sheet life.

When coupled to a 1.32m (52in) fifth-wheel, the unladen height at the rear is reduced from 3.22 to 2.84m (10ft 7in to 9ft 4in).

Other features help to reduce the tare weight to 4.75 tons but the monocoque trailer is still equally strong, claims the maker.

The top rail in particular is deeper and stronger to resist damage during loading. The main frame depth, on the other hand, has been reduced, both in the area of the swan neck and the main section, which cuts weight. The lower centre of gravity will improve roll stability and the lower tare weight is reflected in the -reduced price of the outfit.
