A NEW road-brush mounted on an agricultural tractor three-point linkage and driven from the pto is being made by Leeford (London) Ltd, Great Ryburgh, Fakenham, Norfolk.
Leeford, which claims to have pioneered the directdrive hydraulic roadsweeper, has produced a mechanically operated version for use with tractors with either no, or unsatisfactory, hydraulics, and where full mechanical power is required for comparatively short periods. The new Rotabrush is set a predetermined angle of deg either to the right or left. has a brush diameter 686mm (27in) and covers working width of 1,700m (67in).
