DIESEL version of the Daihatsu 4 x 4 has been introduced to le UK. It has a 2,530cc (154cuin) capacity engine with eleconic fuel injection which produces 46kW (62bhp) at 3,500rpm. Fuel economy is about 81it/100km (35mpg) says the UK -porter, TKM Vehicles Services (UK) Ltd.

Transmission is via a four-speed gearbox with both high and w ranges.

TKM expects to import more Daihatsu and Jeep "golywhere" vehicles during 1979.
