Container service
P AND 0 Roadways has launched a new service intended specifically for container movements.
Called Containerflow, it handles ISO tanks and other specialist units as well as dry cargo containers. It offers a total container service, with movements throughout the UK, maintenance and ancillary services.
Containerflow is coordinating its movements with the haulage and terminal facilities of? and 0 Roadways and the Continental/ Scandinavian connections of P and 0 European Transport Services.
Deighton for Dennis
DEIGHTON Brothers of Gateshead have been appointed Dennis main dealers for Northumberland, Durham and Cleveland.
Mack expands
MACK has appointed four new dealers in the UK.
Until now, Mack Distributors (UK) in Bolton has been the sole supplier, but a greater number of dealers is required to cope with increased sales.
The four new dealers are: Commercial Truck Services (Manchester), Stockport; Seven Counties Mack, Leighton Buzzard; Campbell Mack, Coatbridge, Lanarkshire; Commercial Vehicles (Omagh), Co. Tyrone.
All four have Mack-trained staff and carry the recommended stock of spare parts.
Lebanon sailings
CAVE WOOD Transport, the UK agent for the shipping line Linea Messina of Genoa, has announced that the line's regular La Spezia-Beirut sailings have resumed.
The Service, interrupted by the war in the Lebanon caters for ro-ro and container movements.
