We can reliably inform your correspondent (CM December 29, CI and A) that heavy goods driver training is NOT grant aided by the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board).
Our London solicitors tell us that they do not view with any optimism the probability of this being altered in the near future, despite representations to the Minister of State.
