• South Wales Transport Co Ltd, theNational Bus Company subsidiary in South Wales, is to close its Neath Abbey bus depot. Staff and52 vehicles are being transferred to the Neath Western depot, but the area workshops will remain open.
The closure brings to completion SWT's plan for concentrating its four Neath premises on to one site. Neath Western now houses an 85-vehicle fleet.
