Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A warning to lorry drivers working on power sites of the dangers of electrocution has been issued by the North Eastern Electricity Board. Two tipper drivers have 'lately died because their vehicles became electrified after touching overhead cables.

The Board, which has produced a safety code, calls on drivers to survey sites on which they will be working, and warning stickers for use in cabs are also being circulated.

It is stressed that if a vehicle contacts a power line the driver should leap clear and not step down from the cab. The two dead drivers had jumped clear but afterwards touched their tippers which were still "live".
