The senior assistant solicitor to the Hull Corporation, Mr. K. H. He said the fare increase would provide an additional revenue of £212,000 a year.

The general manager of the Hull Corporation Transport Department, Mr. G. H. Pulfrey, said the estimated accumulated deficit based on existing fares at March 31, 1963, would be £199,226.
