We record with regret the death of David Ritchie Lamb. Mr Lamb was a former chairman of Modern Transport Publishing Co Ltd, past president of the Institute of Transport and Fellow of the Institute of Journalists. He was associate editor Modern Transport 1 91 9-1923, editor 1923-1953 and chairman 1953-1962. From 1939 to 1945 was deputy director of transport, Ministry of Food, and director of transport 1948-1949.
