The order is for 12 Fo-urtraks, 26 ft. long with fifth-wheel couplings, and 12 automatic coupling 12-ton semi-trailers, 25 ft, long, all with flat platform bodies, together with 24 fifth-wheel hogie semi-trailers 32 ft. long on rubber suspension, the latter for operation at 30 tons g.v.w.

11-8 MILLION ORDER FOR LEYLAND: Leyland Motors Ltd. has received an order from. South Africa for 748 heavy-don' chassis, parr of an overall contract for 1.255 vehicles to be produced for the Dominion by the Leyland Motor Corporation. The Leybind Motors contract includes 400 Super Cornet goods chassis, 300 Albion Super Reiver and Super Chieftain goods ch:hsis and 48 Alhhnt Viking bus chassis.
