SDC TRAILERS has pulled out of its planned deal to off-load its parts and service business FP&S to rival Intertruck.
SDC acquired FP&S, originally the parts and service division of Fruehauf Trailers, from Bulwell Holdings in 2007.
"We were approached by Intertruck sometime ago and have had lengthy discussions with the company," said SDC MD Mark Cuskeran. "We are happy with the performance of the business and are aware FP&S has a great reputation in the marketplace, therefore we have decided not to accept this offer."
