• Maintenance problems have led to the revocation of the licence held by Robert Chard and Nicholas Twomey, trading as T&C Scaffolding, of Newport. The partners had been called before South Wales TC John Mervyn Pugh at a Cardiff disciplinary inquiry.
Dispute settled
• Neath-based G Williams & Sons Transport, which was called to a Cardiff disciplinary hearing because of an unpaid bill, settled the dispute by producing a bankers draft. The firm accepted that it owed AS Commercials £500.50 for repairs; its denial that it owed £1,500 in rent was conceded by AS Commercials.
No licence
• Using a vehicle without an 0-licence cost David Rees, trading as JD Turf, of Llamnadoc, Swansea a £300 fine. Rees, who pleaded guilty to the offence before the Llanelli Magistrates, was also ordered to pay £50 costs.
