/ Robin Hood, founder of the GRP bodybuilder of the same name, has joined Car Chair Vehicle Builders of Hailsham, East Sussex, to help launch an extensive range of PCV vehicles.
He joined the company in October, after three years in France, and is one of several key recruits at Car Chair, including John Wade, former marketing director at Dormobile.
The new team will launch a Ford mobility bus and a 24-seater coach on an Iveco chassis early next year, managing director David Constable says. That will mark the start of a rolling programme of expansion in welfare vehicles and PCVs up to 33 passenger capacity.
