/ Renault is counter-attacking at the light end of the market, with the introduction of automatic transmission throughout its B-series range of five and sixtonne 16-seater chassis.
While Renault has not yet launched the option, which uses Chrysler Torqueflyte transmissions, it is understood to be taking orders from operators who have been pushing for automatics.
