A positive grip, serrated nylon buckle is being produced by Bell Products initially for use as part of a tow rope. However, the manufacturers say that it may be used for a variety of transport purposes.
• Fastening is achieved by passing the rope through an attachment point* slapping it through a loop and pulling it tight If the tension is slackened, the grip is maintained and release is effected by easing the standing part of the rope through the buckle.
