With a lifting capacity of 1.5 tonnes the Dixon-Bate folding vehicle crane was developed for fitting to vans, pick-ups and trucks, While still reta.ining the general-purpose qualities of the vehicle.
No tools are required to raise the crane to 'its working height and the operation can be carried out by one man. When folded down it forms a flat surface with the vehicle's floor to allow normal loading.
