DELAYS in the delivery of 50 new Leyland Nationals ordered for 1975 have aggravated the vehicle and parts shortage experienced by London Country Bus Services. Now a total of 63 vehicles have been bought or hired from seven other operators to ease the problem. These operators are Southdown, Maidstone and District, Ribble, London Transport, Royal Blue, Maidstone Corporation and Bournemouth.
London Country predicts that when the new Crawley workshops come into use the parts and servicing problems will be eased.
