• A widespread return to work at BRS Parcels depots began on Wednesday, following acceptance by shop stewards of a pay offer Lo settle the two week's old unofficial strike. The offer, which involves productivity bonuses and the introduction of work measurement, virtually amounts to an increase for drivers and loaders rising in stages to £3 a week on basic rates by next June.
