Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

An hydraulic lifting table for handling heavy transmission units beneath a vehicle, the Hydra-Trolley from Power Lifts is sufficiently compact to be used in the confined space of servicing pits. Its use avoids the considerable effort and hazard of handling heavy components overhead. London Transport has taken delivery of 50.

The Hydra-Trolley is hydraulically raised by a centrally placed telescopic ram and stabilized by four sliding corner pillars. The table is infinitely adjustable from 3ft 8in. to a maximum height of 5ft 9in. and is operated by foot pump with a hand release for lowering. Its capacity is 121-cwt and it is fitted with castors for mobility and easy manoeuvring. The platform measures lft 9in. by 2ft 9in.

The units were developed from the Power Lift standard 7cwt model which was designed for general workshop use in the handling of heavy parts such as press tool sets, motors, pumps, etc. The makers will produce similar units to customers' dimensions by arrangement.
