MR. S. F. Howls, manager of Alma Garages (Bristol), Ltd., has been appointed a director. The company are members of the Bristol Industries group.
MR. ALAN HESS has become public relations manager of the Simms Motor and Electronics Corporation, Ltd. He was formerly joint managing director of Information in Industry, Ltd.
MR. F. FREEMAN has for health reasons resigned from the position of secretary of Ransome and Mantes Bearing Co., Ltd., and has been succeeded by MR. T. E.STEEL, formerly chief accountant.
MR. FRED WALKER, methods engineer at Birmingham for the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., has been appointed manager of the company's overseas engineering department. He has been with Dunlop for 20 years.
MR. ARNOLD CARR, assistant managing director of Thos. Ward. Ltd., has been appointed deputy chairman. He joined the company as a commercial apprentice in 1915, and is chairman and director of several companies in the Ward group. MR. DOUGLAS F. WALTON has been Appointed a director. He has been in charge of the railway siding department since 1955.
