sea, A483, now consists of two modern carriageways from the Earlswood roundabou on the Neath by-pass to Danygraig Bridges, a distance of about 41 miles. It was announced on Wednesday that a further extension is to be carried out for about 700 yd. westwards.
The new road will form a diversion south of the residential area through which the existing narrow singlecarriageway road passes. The extension will cost about £103.000, of -which 75 per cent. .bas been granted by the Minister of Transport.
