Figures issued by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders show that 5,236 units, valued at £2,337,739, were sent overseas hr October, compared with 5,096 (£2,335,479) in September and 4,069 (£1,863„640) in August From January to October this year, 48,746 units, valuedat £21,139,303, were exported. Trailers form a substantial item.
October's exports of agricultural tractors and parts brought in £508,702, increasing the figure for the first 10 months of this year to £3,615,752.
