Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Thwaites Engineering Ltd, of Leamington Spa, has turned to a trailer designed originally for carrying caravans.

The 12.2m (40ft) trailer was custom-built by the York Truck Equipment factory at Cannock. The sloping platform, beaver tail and spring assisted tail ramps were to speed loading and unloading. As the dumpers are often demonstrated in wet and muddy conditions, this gradual trailer slope assists tyre grip when loading.

The running gear includes York-built TS multi-leaf slipper springs and 9-ton design capacity axles.

The trailer replaces a rigid lorry fitted with a ro-ro body tipped to allow drive-on access. The body angle, however, reduced tyre grip and required time consuming winch loading and body movement.
