DURING the marathon session of the parliamentary committe considering the Prices and Incomes Bill, Sir Edward Browt Tory MP for Bath, offered to visit Frank Cousins in gaol if he i locked up for failing to comply with the terms of the Bill. Fran was not a bit mollified: "If you are inviting yourself to come and se me I assure you that there are others I would prefer to see", h rejoined.
