FOLLOWING an appeal by Messrs. 2P. and 0. Lloyd, of Bagillt, the Minister of Transport has implied that services to football matches run at the present tone by Crosville Motor Services, Ltd., under dispensation from the North Western Licensing Authority 1.ction 72 (10), Road Traffic Act, 1930] snotCd he the subject of road service licenees. He thinks that the authorizing of regular services by means of dispensation granted under that section is highly undesirable, in that objections cannot be lodged, In dismissing the appeal on the atound that there was lack of evidence that the Services already authorized were inadequate, the Minister states that he has . in mind the expectation that these. services, willbe the subject, in the nearfuture, of applications for road service licences which will provide all parties with. full opportunity for _making their -case for or :against the
