THE subject of this year's Lord Wakefield Gold Medal Essay Competition will be "Credit Control in the Retail Motor Industry." All fellows, members, associate members, associates. graduates 'and students of the Institute of the Motor Industry may compete. Entries must be sent to the secretary of the Institute, 40, Queen's Gate, London, S.W.7, by January 31, 1950.
NATIONAL PACKAGING SHOW
TH.E first national exhibition covering the various aspects of the packaging industry is to open at the .CityHall, Manchester, on October 5 and will continue until October .15. .Organized Provincial Exhibitions, Ltd., in co-operation with the Institute of Packaging, the show will .include over 100 exhibits of machinery and ma-tctials.
