BOTH in standardization of models and in simplification of industrial practices, the United States has made greater progress than Britain in its effort to change over production from war to peace.
Major-General J. Crawford, director of Guy Motor's, Ltd,, and vice-president of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, is reported to have made this statement before leaving New York for England, after he and a team of British experts had studied American production practice.
