TRANCE is making great strides in 1. the production of motor vehicles. Its output in the first half of this year was nearly 142,000 units, whereas ia the corresponding period of last year fewer than 100,000 were manufactured. The target for this year is 270,000 and is expected to be exceeded.
French Colonies and foreign countries' are taking more vehicles manufactured in France. Exports have ' increased' From 35,000 to 55,000, with Belgium and Holland as the chief buyers. France is buying fewer British vehicles.
